WHY DON'T YOU USE GLASS?Updated a year ago

Here are a few thoughts about using glass to contain liquid products: - Glass is more expensive than what we use now (recycled paper), so using glass for liquid shampoo and conditioner would, in turn, raise the cost of the products in general. We want to keep our products as affordable as possible for our customers. - Everything we use for our packaging is biodegradable, sustainable and recyclable. Although glass can be recycled, it is not biodegradable. In this regard, glass has more similarities to plastic than paper. -The likelihood of the glass breaking while going through the shipping process is exponentially higher than it is now with our products in bar form. Having glass containers means using more packaging material so that the glass doesn't break in transit, which again, leads to higher product costs and increased shipping time.
