Normal Hair/Scalp Recommendation: Any one of our bars would work great for your specific hair and scalp type. Terrace Garden and Native Essence bars are usually used for dry to normal scalp types and are more moisturizing. Hidden Waterfall has some oil control properties, but is great for normal hair types as well.  Citrus Yao bars are usually used for normal to oily type scalps. So whatever you feel like you need the most, try that direction first.

Oily Hair/Scalp Recommendation: If you have oily or greasy hair, and want a solution to reduce your oily hair, Citrus Yao shampoo and conditioner are the best bars for you to use. The other scents will definitely work, but the Citrus Yao will do a better job at removing dirt, grime, and excess oil from your hair in a way that does not leave your hair feeling stripped or dry. Your hair will feel clean, soft, and moisturized after using these products!

Oily Scalp/Dry Ends Recommendation: There are quite a few people with this same hair type who like to use Citrus Yao shampoo for their scalp and Terrace Garden, Hidden Waterfall, or Native Essence conditioner for their ends. Ultimately it will come down to trying it out and seeing what your hair needs.

Dry Hair/Scalp Recommendation: We recommend using the Terrace Garden, Hidden Waterfall, or Native Essence bars to help with dry scalp and/or dry hair. These scents are great for hair that needs to retain natural oils.  Terrace Garden is like a fresh, green, floral shop smell, not too overwhelming. Hidden Waterfall is a sweet, vanilla, musk scent. And Native Essence is unscented. They are all great for dry to normal type scalps.

Sensitive Skin/Psoriasis/etc. If you have very dry hair, psoriasis, and/or any other dry or sensitive scalp problems, we highly recommend using Native Essence shampoo and conditioner bars, these are the most gentle bars we sell.
