LATHER - WHY DOES THE CONDITIONER NOT LATHER LIKE THE SHAMPOO?Updated a year ago

The shampoo contains a cleansing agent called Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate. This is a natural cleansing agent derived from coconut and what creates the foaming or sudsy effect. The purpose of this ingredient is to open the hair cuticle and clean off the oil and dirt from your hair. The conditioner does not contain Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate . The conditioner contains ingredients that act as emollients which will close the hair cuticle and restore hydration and moisture. The lather from the conditioner is not supposed to be foamy. It will be more of a paste-like lather. Even though you can't see a lot on your hair as you apply it, a little goes a long way. Work the conditioner onto your hair the best you can and let it sit on your hair for a few minutes and then rinse out.
