Extensions: Our products are most definitely safe for extensions! We simply recommend being gentle near the roots to ensure you’re not applying too much friction onto your extensions with the bars.

Henna: Reports are somewhat mixed from the handful of people who use henna dye, with about 75% of them really liking the bars and having good results.

Chemical Treatments (Brazilian Blowouts, Botox, Keratin): We have had several customers with various chemical treatments who have used our products and reported them working well for them. 

Lock'ed Hair: We have had some great feedback from our customers with different styles of lock'ed hair. They have reported it is a very positive experience that does not leave a residue. If you are giving this a try with locks, we would love to hear your feedback! Keep us posted.

Color Treated Hair: All of our products are specifically formulated to work with colored treated hair. We have had great customer feedback about how well our products work with it. All our products are paraben-free and all-natural, so they are very mild and gentle on your hair.  The reviews show great results, however, it does depend on the quality of the color being used. If you use some sort of toner, semi-permanent dye, or box dye there can be heavy metals and chemicals in those, so reactions of all sorts are expected. We recommend using a permanent dye so the color penetrates the cuticle and locks in. Especially with bars where you have to use friction, that friction opens the cuticle which can let out color if the color is not permanent. Use at your own risk. We are not responsible for any color stripping or unwanted results related with color-treated hair. Because our products are in bar form, we recommend getting a lather in your palm first, and working it through your hair with your hands rather than rubbing the bar directly on your head.
