Extensions: Our products are also safe for extensions! We just recommend being gentle near the root to ensure you are not putting to much friction on your extensions since you are rubbing the bars in your hair.

Henna: We've had a handful of people who use henna dye and about 75% of them really liked the bars and had good results.

Chemical Treatments (Brazilian Blowouts, Botox, Keratin): We have had several customers with various chemical treatments that use our products and have reported this works well for them. We recommend using something very moisturizing like the Terrace Garden Shampoo and Conditioner or the Native Essence Shampoo and Conditioner.

Lock'ed Hair: We have had some great feedback from our customers with different styles of lock'ed hair. They have reported it is a really positive experience and does not leave a residue. If you are giving this a try with locks, we would love to hear your feedback! Keep us posted.

Color Treated Hair: All of our products are specifically formulated to work with colored treated hair. We have had great customer feedback about how well our products work with colored treated hair. All our products are paraben-free and all-natural, so they are very mild and gentle on your hair.  We’ve had a lot of great feedback from our users with color-treated hair as you can see from our reviews, however, it does depend on the quality of color used. If you use some sort of toner, semi-permanent dye, or box dye there are heavy metals and chemicals in those so chemical reactions of all sorts are expected. We would recommend using a permanent dye so the color penetrates the cuticle and locks in. Especially where with bars you have to use friction, that's opening the cuticle which can let out color if the color is not permanent. Use at your own risk. Viori is not responsible for any color stripping or unwanted results related with color.Because our products are in bar form, we recommend getting a lather in your palm and work it through your hair with your hands rather than rubbing the bar directly on your head.
